1. Who we are
AI Tour Guide ("the app") is a mobile application published by Flit Soft. The app shows you nearby places on a map, ranks them by popularity, and — when you ask — has an AI guide narrate a place's story out loud.
This policy explains exactly what the app does and does not collect, and how it works. Questions go to contact@flitsoft.com.
2. There is no account
The app has no sign-in, no profile and no user account of any kind. There is no backend server and no database where a record about you could be kept. You can delete the app at any time and nothing about you remains anywhere.
3. Location
The app asks for your location only to centre the map and the leaderboard on the places actually near you. If you decline, or before you grant it, the app shows a sample city instead.
Your location is used on your device to fetch nearby places and is never stored, logged or sent anywhere except as part of the place-search request described in section 4.
4. What the app sends to other services
Nearby places, their names, photos, ratings and review counts come from the Google Places API. Your device sends the area you are viewing (your location, or the sample city's) to Google to fetch that list.
When you tap "Tell me about it" on a place, the place's name and a short description are sent to an AI model to write and narrate its story. Only the place information is sent — nothing that identifies you personally.
Neither of these requests is tied to an account, because the app has none. There is nothing to link one request to another beyond what the network layer inherently carries (like your IP address at the time of the request), and neither service is used by us to build a profile of you.
5. Information we do not collect
The app contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK and no third-party tracking. It does not access your microphone, your contacts, your calendar, your photo library or your files. It requests no permission beyond location, and location is used exactly as described in section 3.
6. Where anything is stored
Nothing about you is stored anywhere. The app keeps a small on-device cache of recently viewed places so the map feels fast, and this cache never leaves your device and is cleared when you delete the app.
7. Third-party services
Google Places API — supplies the places, ratings, review counts and photos shown on the map and leaderboard, in response to the area you are viewing.
An AI model provider — writes and narrates a place's story when you ask for one, from the place's name and description only.
Each of these providers operates under its own privacy policy and processes only what the app sends it, described above, in order to answer that one request.
8. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and, having no accounts, collects nothing that would identify a child or anyone else.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change how the app handles data — in particular if we add a service that receives more than a place name — we will update this page and change the date at the top.
10. Contact
Email contact@flitsoft.com for anything at all: a privacy question, or a mistake you spotted on this page.
